News L.A.'s Tamarind Displays MonuMENTAL Cruelty, To Feb. 20 LOS ANGELES -- The comedy troupe Brain Trust will be seen for the first time since 1990 when it premieres its new show MonuMENTAL Cruelty at the Tamarind Theatre in Hollywood Jan. 14, 1999 for a five-week run.

LOS ANGELES -- The comedy troupe Brain Trust will be seen for the first time since 1990 when it premieres its new show MonuMENTAL Cruelty at the Tamarind Theatre in Hollywood Jan. 14, 1999 for a five-week run.

The revue is a collection of scenes and music culled from ten-plus years of the works of Brain Trust. "It is an evening of comedy, music and epic hostility," said a company spokesperson.

The cast includes original company members David Fury, Tom Virtue and Gary Kroeger, joined by Isabella Hofmann. The show, directed by Fury, also features the music of "Happy Tongue." The set design is by John Iacovelli; the producer is Round Swamp Entertainment.
