LOS ANGELES -- Plays by Moliere and Scott Miller recently kicked off Theatre One's 1999 season. The Ridiculous Precieuses, directed by Richard Abraham, and Savannah Comin' Out, directed by Miller, comprise the bill, which runs through May 2 at The Complex Theatre in Hollywood.
The Ridiculous Precieuse is an updated version of Moliere's first farce, which deals with two young women in Hollywood who are made the butt of an elaborate practical joke.
Miller's play, a world premiere, is a comic look at a 20-year-old debutante who discovers that "it's never too late to get help being human in a seemingly savage world."
The Complex is located at 6476 Santa Monica Blvd. Call (818) 819 1788.
