News Las Vegas Shear Madness Will Begin Performances May 5 The much-delayed Las Vegas production of Shear Madness will now begin previews at Town Square Las Vegas May 5 with an official opening May 8 at 7 PM.

The cast will feature the previously announced Enoch Augustus Scott as Tony Whitcomb, Robin Long as Barbara DeMarco, Tracey Adams as Eleanor Schubert, Joe Ditmyer as Eddie Lawrence, Chris Tarjan as Nick Rosetti and Nicholas Caruso as Mikey Thomas with Christie Maturo as the understudy/assistant stage manager.

Shear Madness, according to press notes, "engages visitors and locals alike as armchair detectives to help solve the scissor-stabbing murder of a famed concert pianist who lives above the Shear Madness hairstyling salon. The show combines up-to-the-minute improvisational humor and a mixture of audience sleuthing to deliver a truly unique performance each night."

In a statement Shear Madness executive producer Terrence R. Williams said, "Las Vegas is about to get a whole lot funnier. With times as tough as they are, we all can use a great laugh."

Show times in Vegas will be Tuesday-Sunday evenings at 7 PM with matinees Saturdays and Sundays at 3 PM.

Tickets, priced $42.95-$79.95, are currently available by calling (702) 949-6123 or by visiting www.ShearMadnessLV.com.
