New Jersey's Magnet Theatre Company's Irish play festival will have run its course on March 20. The festival's four productions began on Feb. 25 at the Mill Hill Playhouse in Trenton.

Now in its second season, the three-year-old company presented Brian Friel's Molly Sweeney, directed by Frank Leary; Frank McGuinness' Someone Who'll Watch Over Me, directed by Aileen McCulloch; Marie Jones' A Night in November, directed by managing director Mark Jacobson; and Tales of the Fairy Queen, an original children's play by Aileen McCulloch and Ty Furman and directed by Furman.

Molly Sweeney deals with a woman whose husband pressures her to have an operation that might restore her sight. Someone Who'll Watch Over Me deals with political prisoners trying to maintain their hope and sanity. A Night in November is a solo that tells of an Irishman who learns to let go of his prejudices when joining his brethren on a pilgrimage to the World Cup.
