LOS ANGELES -- Since July 11, the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble has been taking audiences on a spiritual excursion through Hindu culture with Terrence McNally's Off-Broadway success A Perfect Ganesh. Originally scheduled to run through Aug. 30, Ganesh was recently extended to Sept. 11.

Lois Nettleton and Louise Sorel star in the comedy/drama about women friends who visit India seeking self-discovery and are helped by Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu god.

Directed by Allan Miller, the show runs at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, 2055 S. Sepulveda Blvd., West Los Angeles. Curtain is 8 PM Wednesday through Saturday, and 7 PM Sunday. Tickets are $18.50 to $22.50. For more information, call (310) 477-2055.
