A Tony-winning Broadway musical says goodbye to its star and creator, while a Broadway-aimed world premiere rock musical and three Off-Broadway plays conclude their limited engagements.

  • Lin-Manuel Miranda In the Heights (On Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre). The Tony-winning composer, lyricist and star of the Washington Heights-set hip hop musical plays his final performance as rapping bodega owner Usnavi on Broadway after headlining the production since its Off-Broadway premiere in 2007.   • Freshwater (Off-Broadway at the Women's Project). The Women's Project and SITI Company co-present a new version of Virginia Woolf's comedy that concerns the historic figures Julia Cameron, Alfred, Lord Tennyson and Ellen Terry. For tickets visit Telecharge.
  • Terre Haute (Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters). Peter Eyre and Nick Westrate star in Edmund White's work inspired by playwright and screenwriter Gore Vidal's famous essays on Oklahoma bomber Timothy McVeigh. For tickets visit 59E59Theaters.
  • Freudian Slips (Off-Broadway at the Abingdon Theatre Company). The world premiere of Marvin Lifschitz's psychodrama imagines a Sigmund Freud who is obsessed with a female patient, while the survival of psychoanalysis is in jeopardy. For tickets visit Smarttix.
  • Memphis (Regional engagement at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre). The Broadway-aimed rock 'n' roll musical penned by Joe DiPietro and Bon Jovi's David Bryan stars Chad Kimball as a white deejay who plays black music on mainstream radio and reveals his love for the singer who inspires him.
