  • Lin-Manuel Miranda In the Heights (On Broadway at the Richard Rodgers Theatre). The Tony-winning composer, lyricist and star of the Washington Heights-set hip hop musical plays his final performance as rapping bodega owner Usnavi on Broadway after headlining the production since its Off-Broadway premiere in 2007.   • Freudian Slips (Off-Broadway at the Abingdon Theatre Company). The world premiere of Marvin Lifschitz's psychodrama imagines a Sigmund Freud who is obsessed with a female patient, while the survival of psychoanalysis is in jeopardy. For tickets visit Smarttix.
  • Memphis (Regional engagement at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre). The Broadway-aimed rock 'n' roll musical penned by Joe DiPietro and Bon Jovi's David Bryan stars Chad Kimball as a white deejay who plays black music on mainstream radio and reveals his love for the singer who inspires him.
