Director and Harvard arts administrator Eric C. Engel has been staging a production of Paul Osborn's Morning's At Seven, at Boston's Lyric Stage Company. The show began previews Sept. 17, officially opened Sept. 22 and ends Oct. 17.

The play, set in 1939, tells of a son who brings his fiancé home to meet his family -- just when every family member is coming unhinged.

Featured performers are Alice Duffy, Eve Johnson, Mary Klug, Deena Mazer, Judith McIntyre, Richard Mawe, Marty Barrett, Waldo Fielding and Jack Sweet. Designing the show are John R. Malinowski (lighting), Eric Levenson (set) and Jana Durland-Howland (costumes).

Director Engel, who serves as senior manager with the Office for the Arts at Harvard University, has staged productions at SpeakEasy Stage, Coyote Theatre and Lyric West.
