News Last Chance: Sun Sets on Morning's in L.A., Aug. 22 LOS ANGELES -- Director Stephen Tobolowsky helms Theatre 40's 20th anniversary production of Paul Osborn's Mornings At Seven, ending its scheduled run Aug. 22. The show opening July 10 in Beverly Hills for a six-week run, with a number of weekend performances sold out along the way. Tobolowsky staged such New York shows as Beth Henley's The Miss Firecracker Contest and The Lucky Spot.

LOS ANGELES -- Director Stephen Tobolowsky helms Theatre 40's 20th anniversary production of Paul Osborn's Mornings At Seven, ending its scheduled run Aug. 22. The show opening July 10 in Beverly Hills for a six-week run, with a number of weekend performances sold out along the way. Tobolowsky staged such New York shows as Beth Henley's The Miss Firecracker Contest and The Lucky Spot. The featured performers are Dee Croxton, Linde Gibb, Ann Hearn, Lorraine Michaels, Gene Ross, Joseph Ruskin, David Hunt Stafford, Gloria Strock and Stuart Weiss.

The technical team includes Debra Garcia Lockwood (lighting design), Victoria Profitt (set design), Sherry Linnell (costume design), Henry Lide (stage manager), and Artur Cybulski and J. Davbid Krassner (producers).

Theatre 40 is located at 241 Moreno Drive, but since it's being renovated, performances are being held at a local high school. Patrons are advised to come early because all seats are open seating. Call (323) 936-5842 for information.
