News Latinologues to Welcome News Anchorman Nov. 1 WCBS Channel 2 anchorman Mario Bosquez will make a special guest appearance in Latinologues on Nov. 1.

The newsman will play a Latin soap star in his one-night-only appearance at the Helen Hayes Theatre. Bosquez's appearance will be filmed for an upcoming segment on CBS' "Morning News" program in November.

Latinologues, a collection of monologues about the Latino experience in America officially opened at the Helen Hayes Oct. 13. The production — created and written by Rick Najera — comes to Broadway after touring the country the past few years; it won the 2004 Imagen Award for Best Live Theatrical Production. "It's comedy with a universal appeal with a Latin flavor," says creator Najera.

Latinologues, performed in English, is playing a limited 12-week engagement through Dec. 4. The Broadway company comprises Najera, Eugenio Derbez, Rene Lavan and Shirley A. Rumierk. Cheech Marin directs.

Latinologues plays Tuesday-Friday evenings at 8 PM, Saturdays at 5 and 9 PM and Sundays at 3 and 7 PM. Tickets are available by calling (212) 239-6200. The Helen Hayes Theatre is located at 240 West 44th Street.
