Deborah Zoe Laufer penned the comedy, which began performances at the Ensemble Studio Theatre March 25 under the direction of Lisa Peterson. End Days plays a limited run through April 19.

The cast features Molly Ephraim (Spelling Bee, Into the Woods), Dane DeHaan (Sixty Miles to Silver Lake), Peter Friedman (Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island, Ragtime), Deidre O'Connell (The Poor Itch, Looking for the Pony) and Paco Tolson (Soul Samurai).

In End Days, according to EST, "sixteen-year-old Rachel Stein is having a bad year. Her father hasn't changed out of his pajamas since 9/11. Her mother has begun a close, personal relationship with Jesus. Her new neighbor, a 16-year-old Elvis impersonator, has fallen for her, hard. And the Apocalypse is coming Wednesday. Her only hope is that Stephen Hawking will save them all."

The production has set design by Lee Savage, lighting design by Raquel Davis, costume design by Suzanne Chesney, with sound design and original composition by Ryan Rumery.
