News Laura Osnes and Corey Cott Discuss What Makes Bandstand Timely The new swing musical heads to Broadway beginning March 31.

Before beginning performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre March 31, the cast of Bandstand met with the press to share their excitement for the new show and offer a sneak peek. Take a look above at what the stars, including Laura Osnes, Corey Cott, and Beth Leavel, had to say.

Bandstand, directed and choreographed by Hamilton Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler, tells the story of a group of WWII veterans who enter a radio contest with the hopes of becoming the next big swing band. Along the way, they meet a young war widow who lends her voice to their music. The show features an original score by Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor.

The musical is set to celebrate its official opening night April 26. The cast also features Joe Carroll, Brandon James Ellis, James Nathan Hopkins, Geoff Packard, and Joey Pero.
