Two-time Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes, currently starring in Bandstand on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, received her official Sardi's portrait May 12.
Flip through the photos of the unveiling below:
Bandstand, directed and choreographed by Hamilton Tony winner Andy Blankenbuehler, uses an original swing score by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker to tell the story of Donny Novitski (Cott), who assembles a band of fellow WWII veterans to enter a national radio contest searching for the next big band sensation. Along the way, he teams up with Julia (Osnes,) a young war widow who becomes the group’s lead singer.
