Dec. 4, 1999 at Theatre Unlimited in NoHo. The multi-ethnic Armenian Theatre company is presenting the show, with Aramazd Stepanian directing. All performances are in English.

LOS ANGELES -- The West Coast premiere of Lebanese-Armenian playwright Vahe Berberian's The Pink Elephant is scheduled for Sat. Dec. 4, 1999 at Theatre Unlimited in NoHo. The multi-ethnic Armenian Theatre company is presenting the show, with Aramazd Stepanian directing. All performances are in English.

The absurdist drama deals with the realities of Armenian life in Lebanon during the recent civil war. Berberian, a writer, actor and painter who now lives in southern California, is considered one of the most important contemporary Armenian writers. His other plays include Quicksand and Two Hundred.

The cast of Pink Elephant includes Brent Lee Grossman, Claudia Grigorian, Jerry Kokich, Eric Larkin, Greg MacDonald, Ilana Rogel and Alice Zorthian.

Performances are through Jan. 29, 2000 at Theatre Unlimited, 10943 Camarillo Ave., North Hollywood. For tickets and information call (717) 241- 3888.
