News LeBow, MacDonald and Kuntz Cast in A.R.T. Copenhagen The cast and creative team have been announced for the upcoming American Repertory Theatre staging of Michael Frayn's Copenhagen.

Scott Zigler stages the Frayn work, which will begin its run Jan. 5, 2008, and open Jan. 9 at A.R.T.'s Loeb Drama Center. The limited engagement is slated to end Feb. 3.

A.R.T. company members Will LeBow (Donnie Darko, "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist"), Karen MacDonald (No Exit, Donnie Darko) and John Kuntz (Mr. Marmalade, Starfuckers) will star.

Set in 1941, Copenhagen centers on "German physicist Werner Heisenberg [who] traveled to Copenhagen to meet his Danish counterpart, Niels Bohr. Old friends and colleagues, now they found themselves on opposite sides in a world war, and embroiled in a race to create the atom bomb." The play imagines that encounter.

The design team includes David Reynoso (set and costume), Kenneth Helvig (lighting) and David Remedios (sound).

Nilaja Sun currently performs her solo No Child... (through Dec. 23) at the Cambridge, MA company's stage. The season will continue with William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (Feb. 9-March 22, 2008), Pieter-Dirk Uys' Elections and Erections — A Chronicle of Fear & Fun (April 2-May 4, 2008) and Stephen Greenblatt and Charles Mee's Cardenio (May 10-June 1, 2008).
