Les Miserables, the long-running musical adaptation of Victor Hugo's novel, will return to Los Angeles for a two-month stand. The Boublil-Schonberg show will play the Ahmanson Theatre Dec. 12, 1999- Feb. 12, 2000. Tickets go on sale Sept. 10.
Les Miz first played L.A. in May 1988, running for over a year at the Shubert Theatre. It returned in January 1991 and December 1992.
