Off-Off-Broadway's Liminal Stage promises "Bosch meets Friday the 13th in the carnival grotesque tent motif" with its new chamber adaptation of Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus. John Gould Rubin plays the hubristic medieval title scholar. Erik Jensen is Satan's lieutenant Mephistopheles. A supporting cast of 10 fills numerous other roles. David Elliot directs.
