PlayBlog Lin-Manuel Miranda Will Visit Washington Heights for MJM Culture and Arts Festivial Oct. 15 Grammy and Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) will be the guest of honor at the first ever Morris-Jumel Mansion Culture and Arts Festival, MJM CAFé, kicking off Oct. 15 at the Roger Morris Park.


The MJM CAFé will feature music, artistry, crafts and cuisine that make Washington Heights and the neighboring communities of Harlem and Inwood so diverse and dynamic. The free event runs from 10 AM-6 PM.

Other performers and artists on hand at the event will include The Harlem Swing Dance Society, Ronny Wasserstrom’s Playdate Puppets, Underworld Productions Opera, singer Rich Bala, Theater for the New City, poet Sheila Maldonado, Diaspora Now, Mike Fitelson Photography, Cherrymae Designs and Puck Theater Puppets.
