The Broadway revival of Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady will embark on a national tour, launching in fall 2019. Casting and a full itinerary for the traveling production, produced by Nederlander Presentations, will be announced at a later date.

The Bartlett Sher-helmed staging opened at Lincoln Center Theater’s Vivian Beaumont in April and is now nominated for ten Tony Awards including Best Revival of a Musical.

Leading the Broadway cast are Lauren Ambrose as Eliza Doolittle, Harry Hadden-Paton as Professor Henry Higgins, Norbert Leo Butz as Alfred P. Doolittle, and Diana Rigg as Mrs. Higgins; each is up for a Tony.

Adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Pygmaliion, the musical tells the story of Eliza—a Cockney flower girl—and linguistics professor Henry Higgins, who claims he can elevate her place in society by changing her speech. The score features such canonical showtunes as "I Could Have Danced All Night," "Wouldn't It Be Loverly," and "On the Street Where You Live."

The production features choreography by Christopher Gattelli, sets by Michael Yeargan, costumes by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Donald Holder, and sound design by Marc Salzberg.

LCT’s 2015 revival of The King and I is currently touring the country with a cast led by Elena Shaddow and Jose Llana.
