Linda Eder, the concert, Broadway and recording singer-actress recognized for having one of the great American voices this side of Streisand, returns to Broadway for a five-performance concert at the Gershwin Theatre, Dec. 26-30.

The show is presented by Nederlander Presentations Inc. and Clear Channel Entertainment in association with David Hart, and marks Eder's first visit to Broadway since starring in husband-composer Frank Wildhorn's Jekyll & Hyde. All performances are 8 PM.

The concert will include songs from her concert repertoire including pieces from her albums as well as classic Broadway tunes (expect some Wildhorn tunes) and favorite holiday songs, some performed with a 32-member choir. Eder's band is also on stage. Jeremy Roberts music directs.

In a statement, James M. Nederlander, chairman of Nederlander Presentations, said, "Linda Eder has been a friend of the family for over 10 years and we are thrilled to present her at the Gershwin in our tradition of presenting great concert artists on Broadway like Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Shirley MacLaine and Bette Midler."

Eder originated the role of Lucy in the musical Jekyll & Hyde. She recorded five solo albums that are cherished by fans: "Linda Eder" (RCA), "And So Much More" (Angel), "It's Time," "It's No Secret Anymore" and "Christmas Stays the Same" (Atlantic). She is also heard on the original Broadway cast album for Jekyll & Hyde (Atlantic) and the original concept albums for Wildhorn's musicals, The Scarlet Pimpernel (Angel) and The Civil War (Atlantic).
