Actress-singer Linda Eder has been productive this year: On Aug. 23, the delivery of a baby son named Jake, with composer husband Frank Wildhorn, and on Sept. 28, the release of a new album of new Wildhorn songs. The Atlantic Records disc, "Linda Eder: It's No Secret Anymore," introduces tunes from Wildhorn's forthcoming Havana, a period musical set in Cuba.

Havana, with lyrics by The Civil War's Jack Murphy, includes (at the pre-production stage) songs called "Havana," "Why Do People Fall in Love?," "This Time Around" (music and lyric by Wildhorn) and "Never Dance," all on the Eder disc.

The disc also includes "Anything Can Happen," from the Wildhorn-Murphy musical, Alice. Wildhorn is the ultra-productive composer of The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Civil War and Jekyll & Hyde.

Unless noted, all lyrics on the disc are by Murphy, and music by Wildhorn.

The 14 tracks include:

€ "It's No Secret Anymore"
€ "You Never Remind Me"
€ "Romancin' the Blues"
€ "Havana"
€ "Why Do People Fall in Love?"
€ "I Guess I Love You"
€ "This Time Around" (music and lyric by Wildhorn)
€ "Looks Like You Started Something"
€ "Little Things"
€ "Even Now"
€ "Never Dance"
€ "Vienna" (lyrics by Gary Benson)
€ "Anything Can Happen"
€ "One for My Baby" (music by Harold Arlen, lyric Johnny Mercer)

This is Eder's second Atlantic release after "It's Time." Earlier in the year the onetime star of Jekyll & Hyde played a short run of live dates, dubbed "The Baby Tour." Critics liken her pipes and interpretation to the work of Garland, Streisand and Ella Fitzgerald.
