The 2018 Best in Shows cabaret evening at Feinstein's/54 Below, benefiting the Humane Society of New York, took place October 15.

The evening saluted SiriusXM radio host and Playbill contributor Seth Rudetsky, who received the society's Sandy Fund Award in recognition of his concern and support of the needs of rescued animals.

The concert featured performances by Sierra Boggess (The Little Mermaid, School of Rock), Ana Gasteyer (Wicked, Saturday Night Live), Joanna Gleason (Into the Woods, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Adam Kantor (The Band’s Visit, Fiddler on the Roof), Tony winner Lindsay Mendez (Carousel, Significant Other), Hugh Panaro (The Phantom of the Opera, Lestat), Christine Pedi (Sirius XM Radio, Spamilton), Kate Rockwell (Mean Girls), Marc Shaiman (Hairspray, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Smash), Betsy Wolfe (Waitress, The Last Five Years), and Tony winner Karen Ziemba (Contact, Bullets Over Broadway) with special guest appearances by two and four-legged friends.

The 7 PM concert was presented by Dorothy and Bill Berloni. Rudetsky also served as host and music director for the evening.
