The concerts at Boston's Symphony Hall will feature the famed Pops orchestra under the direction of Keith Lockhart. Callaway will be on hand to perform songs from her acclaimed sixties CD, "The Beat Goes On." The evening will feature such sixties classics as "Your Mama Don't Dance," "It's My Party", "Blowin in the Wind," "Satisfaction," "Joy to the World" and "Y.M.C.A." Liz Callaway was most recently on Broadway in The Look of Love. She made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, and also took part in the anniversary concert of that musical. For her work in the musical Baby, Callaway received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, and her other Broadway credits include The Three Musketeers, Miss Saigon and Cats. Callaway's solo recordings include "The Beat Goes On," "Anywhere I Wander—Liz Callaway Sings Frank Loesser" and "The Story Goes On." She was also part of the recent all-star Hair concert.
