News Loman Family Picnic and Awake and Sing! Featured in Jewish Drama in America Readings in CT Connecticut's Long Wharf Theatre will present works by Donald Margulies, Clifford Odets and Sylvia Regan for its "Jewish Drama in America" reading series as part of Celebrate 350.

Produced in association with The Jewish Federation/Celebrate 350 of Greater New Haven, the three readings will take place at Long Wharf Theatre's rehearsal halls and feature moderated post-show discussions

The series lineup — all to start at 7 PM — is as follows:

  • Jan. 9: The Loman Family Picnic by Donald Margulies
    (playwright will take part in post-show moderated discussion)
  • Jan. 10: Awake and Sing! by Clifford Odets
  • Jan. 11: Morning Star by Sylvia Regan Associate artistic director Kim Rubinstein will stage the Margulies and Odets works, while artistic associate Eric Ting directs the Regan drama.
