Scott Elliott, whose directorial lightning struck New York's Theatre Row twice last year (via The Monogamist at Playwrights Horizons and his Obie-winning production of Mitch Leigh's Ecstasy), is preparing to strike there again in April.His company, The New Group, will present the U.S. premiere of Stephen Bill's prize-winning London hit, Curtains. Previews begin April 13 at Intar, with the opening set three days later.

A troubling dark comedy about the trials of old age and family responsibility, the piece won Best Play nods from London's Evening Standard, The Plays and Players London Critics and Drama Magazine.
