The season will open with To Kill a Mockingbird, beginning performances May 16, 2013, prior to an official opening May 22, for a run through June 15. Timothy Sheader will direct Christopher Sergel's adaptation, with designs by Jon Bausor.
Pride and Prejudice will begin performances June 20, prior to an official opening June 25, for a run through July 20. It is dramatized by Simon Reade, former artistic director of Bristol Old Vic. The Winter's Tale will run concurrently, beginning performances June 29 for a run through July 20.
The Sound of Music will begin performances July 25 prior to an official opening Aug. 5, for a run through Sept. 7. It is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, former artistic director of Birmingham Rep and previously an Open Air Theatre regular. It is directed by Alistair David and designed by Peter McKintosh.
Full cast and creative team for all productions will be announced in due course.
Priority booking for members and patrons for Pride and Prejudice and The Winter's Tale opens Oct. 31, with priority booking for To Kill a Mockingbird and The Sound of Music already open.
