With original narration written by Ned Sherrin, the creative team also includes Michael Haslam (musical supervision), Bob Bailey (design) and Robert A. Jones (lighting design).

Side by Side by Sondheim features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim with additional music by Leonard Bernstein, Mary Rodgers, Richard Rodgers and Jule Styne. The original Broadway cast included David Kernan, Millicent Martin, Julia McKenzie and Ned Sherrin. The Venue is located at 5 Leicester Place in Leicester Square, London.
