News Long Island's Bay Street Theatre Offers Sept. 3 Pippin Bus Package The Bay Street Theatre of Sag Harbor wants to make it possible for New York theatregoers to see its production of Pippin without braving the traffic-choked Long Island Expressway.

On Sept. 3, New Yorkers with $140 and an inclination can take advantage of a special Hampton Jitney which will take them to the Bay Street to see a 4 PM matinee and return them to Manhattan in the evening. Also included in the deal lunch at Sag Harbor's famous and historical American Hotel. Pippin stars David Larsen, most recently a sun-seeking teen in the Broadway musical Good Vibrations, in the title role. Larry Keith is Charles, the king, Sebastian La Cause is Lewis, the stupid and devious stepbrother of Pippin, and Alice Playten is Bertha. B.D. Wong plays the Leading Player, the omniscient narrator part created by Ben Vereen on Broadway, Anastasia Barzee is Catherine, and Stephanie Pope portrays Pippin's sexy, scheming stepmother Fastrada.

The show will play the Sag Harbor, Long Island, theatre through Sept. 4.

Jack Hofsiss directs the musical, which will conclude the season. Joey McKneeley (The Boy From Oz) choreographs. John McDaniel is music director.
