Photo Features Look Back at Mandy Patinkin On the Stage as He Prepares to Return to Broadway The Tony winner will join the cast of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 beginning August 15 at the Imperial Theatre.

Highlights of Mandy Patinkin's stage career include Evita, Sunday in the Park with George, The Secret Garden, Falsettos, and The Wild Party. He took home a 1980 Best Featured Actor in a Musical Tony Award for his performance in Evita. He was most recently on Broadway in 2012 opposite his Evita co-star, Patti LuPone, in An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin.

The Emmy winner will join the cast of Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 beginning August 15 at the Imperial Theatre. Patinkin will play a three-week run as Pierre, the part created by Tony nominee Josh Groban and currently played by Hamilton alum Okieriete “Oak” Onaodowan. Patinkin will stay with the production through September 3.
