The season will open with Lucas Hnath's Death Tax, directed by Heidi Stillman, artistic director of new work, followed by the return of Lookingglass Alice, adapted and directed by David Catlin in association with The Actors Gymnasium. Title and Deed and Moby Dick will be presented in 2015. 

"Lookingglass' 2014-2015 Season will offer that rare combination of epic adventure and intimate intensity that is our signature and that our audiences have come to love," artistic director Andrew White said in a statement. "With David Catlin's world-premiere adaptation of Moby Dick, we continue Lookingglass' long history of bringing the world's great literature to bold, visceral life with the kind of physical ensemble-theater punch that has become a trademark of both Catlin and Lookingglass. Death Tax and Title and Deed feature two of America's most incisive and insightful playwrights-on-the-rise: Lucas Hnath's Death Tax is a taut and wickedly sharp ensemble piece about the intersection of America's two inevitables, death and taxes; and with Will Eno's gorgeous and lyrical Title & Deed we have the good fortune to bring together the award-winning playwright's electric, fireworks show of language and Chicago's own Michael Patrick Thornton in a one-man tour de force. And after an almost five year absence, Lewis Carroll's Alice will once again journey through the Lookingglass into a world of peril, discovery and wonder in one of the Company's signature pieces, Lookingglass Alice."
