News Lori Alan, Ryann Redmond, Lauren Molina Will Join the Reefer Madness for Upcoming "4/20 Concert Event" Lori Alan (Reefer Madness original L.A. production), Andrew Aaron Berlin (A Christmas Story), Saum Eskandani (Disaster!), Lauren Molina (The Skivvies, Rock of Ages), Heather Parcells (Soul Doctor, A Chorus Line) and Ryann Redmond (If/Then, Bring It On) have joined the lineup for the April 19-20 Reefer Madness concerts.

As previously announced, the cult classic musical will be presented in concert April 19 at 11:30 PM and April 20 at 7 PM and 9:30 PM, starring a slew of original cast members from the stage production and the film.

Reefer Madness features a book by Kevin Murphy and Dan Studney with music by Studney and lyrics by Murphy.

Directed by Ilana Ransom Toeplitz, the "4/20 concert event" will also feature original film and stage cast members Christian Campbell, John Kassir, Harry S. Murphy, Amy Spanger and Robert Torti.

Shoshana Feinstein produces. Since its original Off-Broadway production in 2001, Reefer Madness has achieved a cult status in the vein of The Rocky Horror Show and Hedwig and the Angry Inch, due in part to the award-winning 2005 Sundance film adaptation.

Inspired by the over-the-top 1936 anti-pot propaganda film of the same name, Reefer Madness, according to press notes, "takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex and violence."
