The production will feature a 38-piece orchestra playing the original Broadway orchestrations by Robert Russell Bennet and Phillip J. Lang, under the musical direction of Jay Dias. Lyric Stage has produced revivals of Carousel, The King and I and Show Boat (the last in concert) that featured similarly large orchestras playing the classic musicals' scores as they were originally meant to be heard.

Len Pfluger will direct and choreograph the 31-member cast, which will feature Kim Whalen as Eliza Doolittle, Brent Alford as Henry Higgins, Gary Taggart as Pickering, Sonny Franks as Doolittle and Daniel R. Johnson as Freddy.

Noelle Stanley, Julie Erickson, Eric Aultman, Felecia Benton, Vicki Dean, Melody Denoia, Dayton Dobbs, Caitlin Galloway, Graham Galloway, Katherine Gentsch, Amber Nicole Guest, Martin Guerra, Sarah Harder, Joseph Holt, Will Huse, Babakayode Ipaye, Augustine Jalomo, Kallie Katzman, Thomas Renner, Michael Sylvester, Dana Taylor, Jay Taylor, Keith Warren, Lucia Welch and James Williams will complete the cast.

Adapted from George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, with a book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, My Fair Lady tells the story of dialectitian Henry Higgins' attempts to rid flower girl Eliza Doolittle of her Cockney accent and pass her off to society as a well-born lady. Songs from the score include “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “On The Street Where You Live,” “The Rain In Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly,” “Get Me To The Church On Time” and “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.”

The Carpenter Performance Hall is located at 3333 North MacArthur Boulevard in Irving. For tickets, visit
