Esposito's new show — which will be presented at 7 PM each Tuesday — is described in press notes as "an engaging and endearing time capsule that revisits the musical world one of the most beloved and best-selling female vocalists of the 20th century." Directed by Lennie Watts with musical direction by Fortune Esposito, the show features a five-piece band and backup singers. Expect such tunes as "Where the Boys Are," "Stupid Cupid" and "Who's Sorry Now," among others.
Jenna Esposito made her New York nightclub debut in August 2004 and has since performed shows at the Metropolitan Room, the Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Duplex and Danny's Skylight Room. Her New York theatre credits include Little Mary Sunshine, Godspell (Wings Theatre), How I Learned to Draw (Cornelia St. Café), A Sheep and Bad Girls by Joyce Carol Oates, as well as Twelfth Night in London. Esposito's debut CD is titled "13 Men...and Me!" and is available at iTunes and CDBaby.com.
