By close, the new musical will have played 33 preview and 151 regular performances.

Baby It’s You!, according to production notes, is "inspired by the true story of Florence Greenberg, the woman who changed the recording world forever when she discovered The Shirelles and created Scepter Records, becoming the music industry’s first female powerhouse." The musical, which stars Tony Award winner Beth Leavel as Greenberg, was conceived by Floyd Mutrux, directed by Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, and written by Tony-nominated book writers Mutrux and Colin Escott.

The production also features choreography by Birgitte Mutrux with musical supervision and arrangements by Rahn Coleman, orchestrations by Don Sebesky, musical direction/conducted by Shelton Becton, scenic design by two-time Tony nominee Anna Louizos, costume design by Lizz Wolf, lighting design by Tony Award winner Howell Binkley, sound design by Carl Casella, projection design by Jason H. Thompson and hair and wig design by David Lawrence.

The new musical is produced by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and American Pop Anthology in association with Universal Music Group and Pasadena Playhouse, with Richard Perry, Jonathan Sanger and Artie Ripp as Consulting Producers for American Pop Anthology.
