News Mamma Mia!'s Pitre Belts Out Tunes in Times Square New Year's Eve Louise Pitre, who stars as Donna Sheridan in the New York company of Mamma Mia!, will lead the first-ever Times Square New Year's Eve Sing-Along on Dec. 31.

At 11:25 PM ET, the Tony-nominated Mamma star will lead New Year's Eve revelers in a sing-along of the Beatles' "All You Need is Love," Hoyt Axton's "Joy to the World" and ABBA's "Mamma Mia!" Lyrics will appear — with the requisite bouncing ball — on the giant Panasonic Astrovision screens located in Times Square. The Sing-Along is part of Times Square 2003, which is organized by the Times Square BID (Business Improvement District) and Countdown Entertainment. The evening will also include appearances by Christopher and Dana Reeve, who will join Mayor Michael Bloomberg for the final 60-second countdown to 2003 and the lowering of the New Year's Eve ball.

For her performance as Donna in the Canadian, Broadway and touring companies of Mamma Mia!, Louise Pitre received the Dora Mavor Moore Award, the San Francisco Critics Circle Award, the U.S. National Broadway Award as well as a Tony Award nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Her numerous theatrical credits include Piaf; Les Misérables; The World Goes 'Round; I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change; Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living In Paris and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Her solo recordings are titled "Songs My Mother Taught Me" and "All of My Life Has Led to This."
