The lauded work, inspired by the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning drama A Raisin in the Sun, premiered Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons in early 2010 and went on to earn the Evening Standard Award for its London debut.

Jonathan Moscone will helm the A.C.T. production that will feature Felciano (Sweeney Todd) as well as A.C.T. company members René Augesen, Anthony Fusco and Gregory Wallace. Omozé Idehenre, Emily Kitchens and Richard Thieriot complete the cast.

The creative team for Clybourne Park includes Ralph Funicello (scenic designer), Jeff Mockus (sound designer), Alexander V. Nichols (lighting designer), Katherine Roth (costume designer).

Here's how A.C.T. bills the work: "[Clybourne Park] cleverly spins the events of A Raisin in the Sun to tell an unforgettable new story about race and real estate in America. Act I opens in 1959, as a white couple sells their home to a black family, causing uproar in their middle-class Chicago neighborhood. Act II transports us to the same house in 2009, when the stakes are different, but the debate is strikingly familiar. Amid lightning-quick repartee, the characters scramble for control of the situation, revealing how we can—and can’t—distance ourselves from the stories that linger in our houses."

Clybourne Park will officially open Jan. 26, 2011, and continue through Feb. 13, 2011.
