News Marcus Paul James, Telly Leung, Bellamy Young, Felicia Finley and More Sing The Life Tonight 54 Below Sings: The Life, featuring songs from the 1977 musical, is presented May 17 at 54 Below nightclub in New York.

The cast is led by Bellamy Young, best known as Mellie Grant on ABC’s “Scandal,” reprising her role as Mary.

She is joined by Marcus Paul James, Telly Leung, Ciara Renee and Raena White with appearances by Felicia Finley, Katy Grenfell (both original cast), LaDonna Burns and Marissa Rosen.

The 7 PM and 9:30 PM performances are helmed by music director/arranger Jesse Vargas.

The Life opened on Broadway in April 1997, directed by Michael Blakemore. Cy Coleman penned the score with lyrics by Ira Gasman, and Coleman and Gasman collaborated on the book with David Newman. It played 466 performances and garnered Tony Awards for Lillias White and Chuck Cooper.

Songs in the score include "The Oldest Profession," "My Body," "People Magazine," "My Friend" and more.
