News Margulies Starrer Late Fragment Postpones Staging The Off-Broadway production of Francine Volpe's Late Fragment, which was to have been the latest attraction at Studio Dante, has been postponed.

TV star Julianna Margulies was set to inhabit the small theatre space Feb. 9-27. A press release listing "scheduling conflicts" as the reason for the delay. No new dates have been announced. Studio Dante was created by "Sopranos" actor Michael Imperioli and his wife, Victoria. Last fall, the company presented Ponies, a new play by Mike Batistick.

Studio Dante was created by the Imperiolis to develop new theatre work. Though best known for "The Sopranos," Imperioli has worked on such New York stage productions as Aven'u Boys, Displaced Persons, Half Deserted Street, The Writing on the Wall and Little Blood Brother. Victoria, meanwhile, has worked in the areas of architecture and design, having studied those disciplines at The School of Visual Arts.
