Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's theaterjam, featuring short plays by Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas, Adam Bock, Pedro Pascal, Lucy Thurber and Stephen Belber, is presented Oct. 17 in Manhattan.

Playwright Dael Orlandersmith conceived the all-day festival that offers 13 short plays and a series of monologues. Doors open at 1:30 PM, and an hour-long dinner break will begin at 5:30 PM.

Among the notable actors participating are Tony Award nominees Maria Dizzia and Alice Playten, Golden Globe nominee Sarah Paulson, Denis Butkus and Samantha Soule.

Theatregoers may attend any or all of the short performances, which take place at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.

6:30 PM: The Game written by Julissa Contreras; directed by Jenna Worsham; performed by Kevin Mannering and Cesar Rosado
7 PM: Three Guys and a Brenda written by Adam Bock; directed by Lisa Steindler
7:15 PM: Jeff Beaver written by Stephen Belber; performed by Denis Butkus
7:30 PM: RAVE written by Dael Orlandersmith; directed by Chay Yew and performed by Jack Gwaltney
8 PM: The Tsouris of Mary written by David Grimm; directed by David Pittu and performed by Polly Lee and Alice Playten
8:30 PM: A Selection of Monologues by Lucy Thurber; performed by Denis Butkus, Samantha Soule, and more
9 PM: Y2K written by Craig Lucas; directed by Pedro Pascal and performed by Maria Dizzia and Sarah Paulson There is a suggested admission of $10 (sold at the door) for the event, which also features a raffle drawing. The Rattlestick Playwrights Theater is located at 224 Waverly Place (between West 11th and Perry St.).
