News Mark Strong and Nicola Walker to Star in A View from the Bridge at London's Young Vic Theatre Mark Strong is to return to the London stage for the first time since 2002 to star as Eddie Carbone in the previously announced production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, beginning performances April 4 prior to an official opening April 11 at London's Young Vic Theatre, for a run through June 7. He will be joined by Olivier winner Nicola Walker as his wife Beatrice in Ivo van Hove's production.

Strong is a film and television regular, whose extensive appearances include TV's "Our Friends in the North," "The Long Firm," "The Budda of Suburbia," "Prime Suspect," "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy," "The Young Victoria," "Syriana," "Zero Dark Thirty," "Sherlock Holmes," "RocknRolla," "Revolver," "Body of Lies," "Kick-Ass" and "Stardust." Upcoming film appearances include "Closer to the Moon," "Mindscape," "Before I Go to Sleep" and "The Imitation Game." His stage appearances include Twelfth Night and Uncle Vanya (Donmar Warehouse), seasons at the RSC, National and Royal Court, and Closer and Speed-the-Plow in the West End.



Walker won an Olivier Award for the original production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time at the National in 2012, where she has also appeared in Season's Greetings, Gethsemane, Tales from the Vienna Woods and Edmond. Other stage credits include appearances at the Almeida, Royal Court and Donmar Warehouse. TV roles include "Spooks" and "Last Tango in Halifax."



The cast also includes Michael Gould (Alfieri), Emun Elliott (Marco), Phoebe Fox (Catherine), Richard Hansell (Louis), Luke Norris (Rodolpho) and Jonah Russell (First Officer).
