News Marroquin, Rivette and Robbins to Star in Barrington's World Goes Round Casting has been announced for the Barrington Stage Company's upcoming production of the John Kander-Fred Ebb revue The World Goes Round.

Directed by Julianne Boyd, the musical revue will play the Massachusetts venue Oct. 3-21; Joshua Bergasse choreographs. The cast will include Kevin Duda, Angela Grovey, Bianca Marroquin, Andrea Rivette and Kurt Robbins. [And] The World Goes Round, which was originally conceived by Scott Ellis, Susan Stroman and David Thompson, includes tunes from such Kander and Ebb musicals as Cabaret, Chicago and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Becky Mode's Fully Committed will follow, playing Nov. 7-18. Directed by Andrew Volkoff, the solo show will star Vince Gatton. The one-man comedy, according to the Barrington website, "presents a single day in the life of Sam Peliczowski, an out-of-work actor who mans the red-hot reservation line at Manhattan's hippest restaurant. With the phones ringing off the hook, Sam juggles a range of eccentrics — from scheming socialites and name-dropping wannabes to fickle celebrities and egomaniacal bosses. The question of the hour, though, is whether in the midst of all this culinary-inspired chaos he can also manage to look out for himself."

Barrington Stage is located at 30 Union Street in Pittsfield, MA. For tickets call (413) 236-8888 or visit www.barringtonstageco.org.
