News Marshall, Arden and More Go Underground Dec. 1 Saturday Night Underground, the new variety show hosted by director Ben Rimalower at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, continues Dec. 1.

The series, which features interviews with and performances by a host of New York personalities, begins at 11 PM. Those scheduled to be part of the three-hour evening include Gay Marshall (Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris), Michael Arden (The Return of Jezebel James), Todd Buonopane (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and Mintyfresh's Shawn Hollenbach. Matt Castle will be the pianist for the evening, the final Underground planned for 2007.

In New York Ben Rimalower has directed The Fabulous Life of a Size Zero; Joy; Snoopy!; And/or; Sodom the Musical; Look Ma, No Ears and staged readings for Second Stage, The York and EST. He also conceived and directed the award-winning Leslie Kritzer Is Patti LuPone at Les Mouches.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Café at 407 West 42nd Street at Ninth Avenue. There is no cover charge.
