News Marshall, Page, Smith and Webb to Star in West End Debut of Fat Pig Neil LaBute's Fat Pig will make its U.K. premiere at the West End's Trafalgar Studios, with performances commencing May 16 prior to an official opening on May 27. The production is booking for a limited season through Sept. 6.

Directed by the playwright, Fat Pig will star Kris Marshall, Joanna Page, Ella Smith and Robert Webb. The play revolves around Tom, who when he first meets Helen finds there is an instant connection – but it's not exactly love at first sight... Helen is a bright, funny, sexy young woman who happens to be plus-sized - and then some - and it's only so long before the insults start to fly from Tom's shallow yet shockingly funny office buddies. Webb, who plays Tom, is half of the TV comedy duo Mitchell and Webb, whose hit shows include "Peep Show" and "That Mitchell & Webb Look." Smith, who plays Helen, was a regular character in the TV drama series "Cape Wrath" and recently starred opposite Marshall in the BBC drama "Sold." Marshall was last seen in the West End in Treats at the Garrick Theatre with Billie Piper and Laurence Fox; his other TV roles include Nick in "My Family," and his film credits include "Death at a Funeral," "The Merchant of Venice" and Colin in "Love Actually." Page stars as Stacey in the BBC comedy series "Gavin and Stacey" and can also currently be seen in "Love Soup"; her film credits include "Gideon's Daughter" and "Love Actually." Onstage she was seen with Ian McKellen in the Old Vic stage production of Aladdin.

Fat Pig was originally produced at New York's Lucille Lortel Theatre in 2004 under the auspices of MCC Theatre. LaBute's previous plays to be seen in London include bash: latter-day plays, The Mercy Seat, The Distance from Here and The Shape of Things, all first produced at the Almeida and Some Girl(s), seen at the Gielgud Theatre in 2005. His feature films include "In the Company of Men," "Your Friends and Neighbors," "Nurse Betty," "Possession" and a film version of "The Shape of Things."

Fat Pig is produced in London by Ambassador Theatre Group's Howard Panter and Broadway producer Barry Weissler, who is currently represented in the West End and on Broadway by his production of Chicago.
