Morrison will accept his award via a video appearance. The evening, which begins at 7:30 PM, also honors award-winning composers and lyricists Jason Robert Brown and Georgia Stitt. Daisy Prince directs the evening featuring the work of the married composers.
Performers include three-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara, two-time Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James, Aisha De Haas, Davis Gaines, Christopher Jackson, Lauren Kennedy and Jessica Molaskey. The artists will be accompanied by a nine-piece band and a 30-voice chorus, under the musical direction of Thomas Murray.
