News Matthew Risch, Morgan James, Michael Thomas Holmes, Leslie Kritzer Are Guys and Dolls in MA Director John Rando's Guys and Dolls for Barrington Stage Company in Pittsfield, MA, begins June 15. The company is led by Michael Thomas Holmes as Nathan Detroit, Morgan James as Sarah Brown, Leslie Kritzer as Adelaide and Matthew Risch as Sky Masterson.

Performances play BSC's mainstage through July 16. Rando won the Best Direction Tony Award for Urinetown. Holmes appeared in Broadway's Oklahoma!; Risch was Broadway's recent Joey in Pal Joey; Kritzer's Broadway resume includes Legally Blonde, Sondheim on Sondheim and A Catered Affair; and James appeared in Wonderland and The Addams Family.

Opening night for Guys and Dolls, the musical comedy fable about gamblers, performers and mission workers in and around Times Square, is June 19. The 1950 show has score by Frank Loesser (expect "Luck Be a Lady," "A Bushel and a Peck," "I've Never Been in Love Before" and "Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat") and libretto by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, borrowing from the stories of Damon Runyon.

The company also includes Daniel Marcus as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Timothy Shew as Benny Southstreet, Peggy Pharr Wilson as General Cartwright, and Gordon Stanley as Arvide Abernathy, with Chelsey Arce, Evan Autio, Tommy Bracco, Sharona D'Ornellas, Sean Patrick Folster, Steve Konopleski, Chris Lebeau, Brooke Marinovich, Michael Nichols, Kellyn Uhl, Nicky Venditti and Correy West, plus Taylor Anderson, Andrew Brubaker, Michael Hewitt and Hannah Richter (all BSC Musical Theatre Apprentices).

The Barrington production features scenic design by Alexander Dodge, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Rui Rita and sound design by Ed Chapman with choreography by Joshua Bergasse and music direction by Darren R. Cohen. Renee Lutz is production stage manager.
