News Mazzie, Monk, Ziemba and Butler Ready for "Broadway in Bryant Park" July 26 Monty Python's Spamalot stars Marin Mazzie and Jonathan Hadary; Curtains' Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba and Jason Danieley; Xanadu's Kerry Butler, Mary Testa and Jackie Hoffman as well as cast members from The Lion King will perform at "Broadway in Bryant Park" July 26.

Radio station 106.7 FM presents the summer series at the midtown park featuring stars of current and upcoming musicals — on Broadway and Off-Broadway — performing show tunes. The series, which began July 12 and continues every Thursday, plays from 12:30 PM to approximately 1:45 PM. There will also be a special Friday performance Aug. 10 to close the season.

Among the performers lined up for this week are Marin Mazzie, Jonathan Hadary and Lewis Cleale (of Monty Python's Spamalot); Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba, Jason Danieley, Michael McCormick, Megan Sikora, Michael X. Martin, Joe Aaron Reid, Kevin Bernard and Christopher Spaulding (Curtains); Kerry Butler, Mary Testa, Jackie Hoffman and Curtis Holbrook (Xanadu); and The Lion King's Cornelius Jones, Jr. and Sophia N. Stephens.

This sixth annual summertime series line-up (subject to change) follows:

  • Aug. 10: Altar Boyz, Chicago, Legally Blonde Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis at Bryant Park, located just behind the New York Public Library on Sixth Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. In the case of rain, check the radio's website for changes.
