Trip Cullman (The Wooden Breeks, Last Sunday in June) will direct the work slated to begin previews March 2 and open on March 26 for a run through April 15.

In the company of Men will be Don Amendolia (Dedication or The Stuff of Dreams), Kelly AuCoin (Julius Caesar), Romain Frugé (The Full Monty), David Greenspan (Happy Days), Jesse Hooker (Drug Buddy), Michael McElroy (Big River), Pedro Pascal (Based on a Totally True Story), Randy Redd (Parade) and Frederick Weller (Seascape, Glengarry Glen Ross).

"While two men exchange wedding vows, guests at the ceremony chart their own loves, lives, and the degrees of liberation they've achieved — or not — over the years," reads a show description.

"Basically, Some Men is all the events in the past 50 years that have led to same-sex marriage," McNally previously told about his latest work.

The prolific playwright will next see the world premiere of his play Deuce on Broadway with Tony Award winners Angela Lansbury and Marian Seldes starring. McNally's breadth of work includes plays (Master Class, Love! Valour! Compassion!) as well as librettos (Ragtime, Kiss of the Spider Woman). He won Tony Awards for all four aforementioned works. Other credits include Frankie and Johnny in the Clair De Lune, The Full Monty, The Visit, Corpus Christi, The Lisbon Traviata, Andre’s Mother and Lips Together, Teeth Apart. The design team for Some Men will include Mark Wendland (scenic), Linda Cho (costumes), Kevin Adams (lighting) and John Gromada (sound).

Second Stage currently presents Theresa Rebeck's The Scene starring Tony Shalhoub and Patricia Heaton (through Feb. 11). The fourth and final production of the season will be Sarah Ruhl's re-imagining of the classic myth Eurydice (May 30-July 21).

Tickets to Some Men at Second Stage, 307 West 43rd Street (just off Eighth Ave.), are available by calling (212) 246-4422 or (800) 766-6048. For more information, go to
