Following a Jason Robert Brown- and Shoshana Bean-led presentation of The Last Five Years, Second Stage Theater continues its Musical Mondays series, celebrating the theatre's 40th anniversary, with a concert presentation of Saturday Night March 11.

The cast will include Mean Girls stars Erika Henningsen and Kyle Selig as Helen and Gene, respectively, as well as Jonathan Raviv (The Band's Visit) as Hank, Nathan Salstone (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) as Bobby, Kennedy Kanagawa as Ted, Jakeim Hart as Dino, Sommer Carbuccia as Ray, Matt Dallal as Eugene, Alec Mathieson as Artie, Sarah Naughton as Celeste, and Gabriella Pérez as Mildred.

Noah Brody directs the one-night-only engagement of the musical, which features a score by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Julius and Philip Epstein (based on their play Front Porch in Flatbush). Alexander Gemignani (a frequent interpreter of Sondheim's work) serves as music director.

Musical Mondays will continue at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater March 18 with Benj Pasek and Justin Paul's Dogfight and concludes with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's Next to Normal March 25; both shows made their world premieres at Second Stage.

Saturday Night, about a group of Wall Street bachelors and their lavish ambitions, was to mark Sondheim's Broadway debut in the 1950s, until a producer's death led to the show's cancellation. It eventually made it to the stage in the '90s before an Off-Broadway bow in 2000.
