News Mean Musical Will Pull From P!nk's Hits to Tell the Story of Rising Hollywood Rock Star Producer Paul Adams and Emerging Artists Theatre will present a developmental workshop of the new musical Mean, featuring songs from Grammy winner P!nk's catalogue, May 30 in New York.

The musical, with a book by Kerri Kochanski, will feature direction by Jonathan Warman, choreography by Liz Piccoli and musical direction by Luke Williams. It will be presented to the public at 2 PM at the TADA Theater.

Mean, according to press notes, "tells the story of Jinx, an up and coming rock star in Hollywood, using some of P!nk's biggest hits as its soundtrack."

Singer-songwriter Alecia Beth Moore (P!nk) is currently not involved directly with the musical's development, although aware of the project.

The cast will feature Justin Mortelliti, Meghan Leathers, Luis Villabon, Elyssa Brette Mactas, Jay Reum, Michael Fisher, Jennifer Roderer, Espen Sigurdsen, Tim Realbuto, Zach Wachter, Jon Garrity, Charly Dannis, Madeline Acquaviva, Shaina Vencel, Loulu Luzi, Thea Lammers, Mary Bolt, Shannon Burke and Kevin P. Sullivan.

Vanna Richardson will serve as the production stage manager.
