News Meital Dohan Stars in Limited Run of Beirut, Beginning Jan. 5 Off-Broadway Meital Dohan, recently seen in the Tribeca Film Festival winner "Monogamy," stars in Alan Bowne’s apocalyptic love story Beirut, which plays a limited engagement at The Lion at Theatre Row beginning Jan. 5.

Presented by Athena Theatre Company, Exhibit Z & Stephen J. Palmese, the production is directed by the Zoppa Brothers. Opening night is scheduled for Jan. 8; performances will continue through Jan. 22.

Beirut, according to press notes, is the "story of a Brooklyn man quarantined in the Lower East Side after being tested positive for a deadly, nameless virus. His girlfriend, who has not been infected, makes the dangerous journey across the lines to save him."

Show times are Tuesday at 7:30 PM, Wednesday-Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 3 PM.
