The wedding was held in the backyard of the New Jersey home of the bride's parents, Patrick and Verona McKay.

Fellow Broadway actors Daniel Watts, Ephraim Sykes and Rickey Tripp as well as dancer Travis Walker were the four groomsmen. Watts also recited his original poetry during the ceremony. McKay's younger sisters, Deanna and Blake McKay, and two of the bride's college friends, Rebecca Arnold and Haley Carlucci (West Side Story revival), were the bridesmaids.

Memphis co-stars Nancy Opel and Derrick Baskin were also in attendance.

The bride wore a Rosa Clara dress; her grandmother was the flower lady.

"The day was magical," McKay told "It started to drizzle during the outdoor ceremony but soon stopped, and in return God gifted us a double rainbow as we signed our marriage license in unquestionable approval.

"We couldn't be happier to have shared such a special day in our lives with those nearest and dearest to us. We danced all night, and the outpouring of love and blessings from our family and friends has been overwhelming in the best way. Preston and I are just so full of love."

Following the closure of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, the new bride is working on her passion project,; she has artwork featured at Birdland and in Motown and Wicked's theatre green rooms. The groom recently returned to Motown after a leave of absence to work on the upcoming ballet drama series "Flesh and Bone," which will premiere on Starz in early 2015.
